If you were counseling a veteran, what do you believe would be some of the best information you could offer him/her based on this reading and videos? In Module/Week 7, you read 1 article and viewed 4 videos; the content for these discussed the supports available for veterans in finding jobs, skills needed for the interview process, and veterans who chose to go back to school when discharged from the service. Discuss what you see as the 2 or 3 elements that are most significant for finding the right job. Brooks context:

During a brief time, after retiring from the military, I worked with the Airman and Family Readiness mission at an Air Force base.  One of my functions was to coordinate briefings for separating/retiring military personnel as part of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP).

Another aspect of my job had me interviewing 1^st-term airmen before they separated.

Both audiences presented unique challenges, not the least of which included another move and employment.

While responding to this thread, imagine what message and resources you might present to these veterans.
