Research informal reading inventories (IRI). Select five peer-reviewed articles on informal reading inventories (IRI) and related validity, reliability issues or concerns, including prior knowledge and cultural bias.

Summarize your findings in an essay of 750-1,000-words discussing the validity and reliability of IRIs, including how IRIs address prior knowledge and cultural differences. Include in your summary your rationale for your article selection and include any recommendations that you would have for teachers and administrators.
