Power Point Assignment

Presentation on how to conduct research for your three countries (clearly, you need to pick three countries first). YOU MAY ONLY PICK ONE OF THESE, NOT TWO OR THREE: Canada, Mexico, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain. So, you might pick Canada, Afghanistan, and Japan. But you could not pick both Canada and Great Britain.

You must use AT LEAST three separate sources. These must be good sources, such as the ones listed in the PowerPoint. You might also try the Economist, the Wall Street Journal, or the International Times (a newspaper out of Singapore – you can access it on-line).

DO NOT USE “culture” sites like Kwintessential. Many of those types of websites are selling something, so their information is suspect. However, you might try things like Frommer’s or the Lonely Planet (guides for travellers) for good cultural information.

Review this thoroughly. You need to pick three countries to which you want to export, then do the research outlined in the PowerPoint for EACH country. You may decide after doing some research that you want to change one or more of your countries. If so, that is fine – but you need to do all of the research for that new country(ies).

Put your research results into bullet list form, and/or tables, and/or short written summaries. BE SURE TO GET YOUR REFERENCES AND INCLUDE THEM.
