Warrants are used in some cases but not in other’s

For this week’s individual work, we will explore the use of search warrants in investigations. A search warrant is an order signed by a judge that authorizes police officers to search for specific objects or materials at a specific location and at a specific time.

  • Why can warrants be used in some cases, but not in others? Fully explain your response.

Your response should be 1 to 2 pages, Times New Roman, 12pt font, double-spaced, and include citations for your references (if applicable).

For citation guidelines, please refer to the table in the APA Style section of the syllabus.
