Week 1 Discussion Post

Hospitals traditionally provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals requiring more than several hours of care, although most hospitals actively engage in ambulatory services, including emergency services. Hospitals differ in function, length of patient stay, size, and ownership.  How are hospitals differing in function, length of patient stays, size, and ownership? 

Policy: Students must make four substantial contributions to the discussion board every week of the graduate course. The student’s initial posting should be with one and a half pages of content and analysis by Wednesday each week, providing a complete response to the discussion question or questions. After Wednesday, respond to at least three other posts with one and a half pages of content and analysis. All posts for the week are due by Sunday. Use peer-reviewed articles to support your thoughts! There are no Wikipedia, ChatGPT, Jasper, or BLOGS with ads from yahoo.com or google.com, as they present biased opinions.
