Writing Assignment Project

Introduction- The purpose of the funeral services paper or project is to describe and compare the funeral practices of other countries.   The research paper requirement for this class is the following:

Select any three (3) countries of the world (not the United States or Canada) and discuss-

1. The roles of the family in funeralization.
2. The growth of cremation.
3. The growth of ‘green’ or ecologically-friendly funerals.
4. The creation and/or sales of caskets or outer burial containers.
5. The mourning customs and funeral practices of the citizens.
6. The influence (or lack) of hospice.
7. The primary language and varied occupations of the citizens.
8. The various religious beliefs of those in the countries.
9. The presence of funeral directors in the country and their job outlook.
10. The practice of embalming in the country (or lack thereof)  

Formatting Requirements:

• Put your name, course and section number, and assignment title at the top of the document.
• Paper should be no less than 9 pages – at least 3 pages for each country; a title page and reference page are not included in the 9 page requirement.
• Use one-inch margins
• Use 12-point Times New Roman font.
• Double space the assignment.
