Historically the Rail Industry played a detrimental role in the economic growth in the United States.Not only for the Rail Industry but for different modes on transportation.The Rail Industry helped revolutionize the way the transportation industry operates by helping moving goods from one place to another.With this helped with the start of intermodal transportation by moving goods to one location and the trucking industry picks up the goods and moves them to the final destination for example.
