This week we examined several theories to explain inequality and crime: Social Strain Theory, Differential Association Theory, Social Disorganization Theory, Culture Conflict Theory, Conflict Theory, and Routine Activity Theory.

Choose a recent example of a crime covered in the news that demonstrates the link between inequality and crime. In your paper, describe the crime and analyze which theory or theories explain the link between inequality and the crime that occurred. For more information, you might examine:
