This paper provides an opportunity to convince the class of the demonstrable need of the problem and the appropriateness of the action plan. The paper should concentrate on the project itself, and should be of the quality you would make to convince top-level managers.
When preparing your presentation / peer-evaluating other team’s presentation, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Introduction: Define the background and the importance of research. Clearly state the project objective and identify relevant questions. (1pt)
- Body: The talk should be logical with valid arguments. Offer evidence of proof/disproof. Describe methodology relevant to this course. (1pt)
- Conclusion: Summarize the major points or take-aways of the talk. Summarize potential weaknesses (if any) in findings. (1pt)
- Delivery: Speak clearly and at an understandable pace. Maintain eye contact with audience. Do not read from notes. Well rehearsed. Be able to answer questions professionally. (1pt)
- Visual: Graphs/figures are clear and understandable. The text is readable and clear. Audio/Visual components (not recommended) support the main points of the talk. Appropriate referencing of data. (1pt)
