in order to determine the performance of an employee, employers conduct employee appraisals on a regular basis. Most appraisals are done annually and more frequently for new hires and for employees under corrective action.
There are many different methods or approaches to measure employee performance. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. Raters are the supervisors conducting the employee appraisals, and there are common errors that may occur in appraising employees.
What could employers or raters do for effective employee appraisals?
