Case study assignment

  1. An analysis of data underpinning a Harvard Business School (HBS) case (Gupta & Norris, 2012), which was in turn based upon an observational study reported in Management Science (Campbell & Frei, 2010). The HBS case considers issues related to the adoption of a new technology and multichannel consumer behavior, in addition to other concerns.
  2. An exploration of the dance of the confidence intervals for the mean fare of passengers of the Titanic.

3. Completing a point and interval estimation of a variable in a data set of your choice.

Part III Your task: 3.1 Compute and interpret point interval estimates for (your choice of) the population mean, proportion or difference in population means associated with a variable in a data set of your choice for sample sizes =30 and 100. (check pdf for more info )

Note: – check the pdf attachment for assignment requirement and 2 spreadsheets which covers question 1 and 2. Those questions has been already done by my group members.
